The inception of the University of Nigeria Nsukka marked the history of the University in Nigeria. The school was established under the watch of one of the great heroes of Nigeria, Dr. Nnamdi Azikiwe. Typically, the University of Nigeria was built upon support from all parts of the world. After much was done, school activities began at UNN by 1960. Then, the school started by admitting 220 students with 13 academic staff. Admission Processing in the School
Every year, the University of Nigeria Nsukka records a high number of applicants. Hence, making admission into the school very competitive. Therefore, getting admitted into UNN is not a walk in the park. Moreover, secondary students aspiring to study at UNN are required to complete their secondary school final exams in the WAEC/GCE or obtain any other O’level certificate.
