What used to be known as The Girls Technical College (GTC) along the Aba-Owerri road Aba is today Abia State Polytechnic. The section 8 of the 1994 Constitution made this come to reality. The admission process in Abia State Polytechnic is a seamless, making it easy for students to acquire admission into a higher institution. Typically, admissions into Abia State Polytechnic require the student to present their WAEC (West African Examination Certificate).
